Good stuff! I haven't seen many clips of Bob Richards. I like the way he became estatic after a big jump! He would have been a fun guy to jump with!

Not sure exactly when or why it became fashionable to drop Richards from the greatest pole vaulter debate, but in my mind he is without peer in the US and second only to Bubka all-time. Considering the limitations amateurism placed on people during his career, this guy was an animal to stay at it so long and so successfully. Who besides Bubka has even had a shot at winning 3 medals much less actually accomplish it?
